This is a glue-on Beavertail for the Ruger RXM by Drive Side Development. Glocks were known for slide bite from guys with large hands or longer metacarpal bones like myself. The Ruger RXM is no different. There is also minimal clearance between the slide and a shooter’s glove in winter months. This is a cost effective way of fixing that.
This part's strength is comparable to that of the grip module itself, but its crucial to get good adhesion between it and the grip.
For the install, I highly recommend Permatex Black Plastic Welder 84145. Apply GENEROUSLY with a Q-tip and wipe the excess off after pressed on. Pay close attention to the seam on the bottom. It needs to be tight as possible to prevent a hot spot on long range days.
The grey color is not a perfect match, and often has slight inconsistent coloring through the beavertail. Its as close as I’m able to get it at this time.
